    The Buffalo Soldiers Museum is hosting a bike ride tomorrow morning, June 19. Riders can choose to go 20 or 40 miles. Registration is $35. The ride starts at the HCC-South Campus, 1900 Airport, at 7 a.m.

    The ladder truck from fire station 46 blared its siren down Cleburne on Saturday with more than a dozen teenagers riding on top, but there was no fire to put out. The fire engine was at the end of the parade through Third Ward to honor the Yates boys basketball team that went undefeated this season and repeated as Class 4A state champions.

    Houston Community College will dedicate the new Southeast College Learning Hub April 9 at 9:30 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony and Open House. The 90,000-square-foot Learning Hub is located at 6815 Rustic.
