    Officer kills two dogs charging at him

    An HPD officer shot and killed two dogs and wounded a third on Friday in southeast Houston after the dogs charged him, officials said. The incident occurred on the 800 block of Gilpin.

    HPD officer struck by flying tire on Gulf Fwy

    A Houston Police Department officer was struck by a loose Tuesday afternoon while he writing out a ticket. The officer suffered a number of injuries, including a broken arm, but was in stable condition at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
