    Man shot dead as couple ambushed

    UH moves to purchase Rice radio station

    The University of Houston board approved a plan today to purchase the broadcast tower, license and FM frequency of Rice University's KTRU station for $9.5 million.

    Police seek suspects in southeast shooting

    Man draws HPD fire after waving toy gun

    A man waving around a toy pistol was fired on by a police officer before being arrested Monday morning. The suspect is charged with making a terroristic threat after he allegedly pointed the fake weapon at several people near a shopping center in the 8200 block of the Gulf Freeway.

    Man dies after being hit by car outside motel
