Yates rolled over Sterling 126-61 to kickoff its playoff campaign and stretch its streak of 100-point games to 10. Meanwhile, Jones won a nail-biter against Waltrip, 54-52.
From the Sam Khan Jr. story:
Yates wasted no time turning over the Raiders (16-13) and putting up points. The Lions started the night off on a 15-0 run in the game's first 2:03, fueled in large part by seven turnovers forced. By the time the Raiders put up their first field goal, a jump shot by Shannon Grigsby, the Lions held a 20-3 lead. By the end of the first quarter, the Lions were up 40-7.
And from the Jones story:
The Rams (19-9) trailed by as much as nine in the fourth quarter but closed the gap to two with under a minute to go. They missed a potential game-winning 3-point attempt with 5 seconds left.
Jones benefited from hot shooting from guards Justin Johnson (15 points) and Eric Dunn (9 points) in the first half. Each hit three 3-pointers to help the Falcons take a 29-23 lead at the midway point.
