The 2nd Annual East End Cultural Arts Fest takes place on Nov. 21 inside the Tlaquepaque Market/Bohemeos arts coffee house. Come celebrate dance, poetry, music, visual arts, theatre, and independent films!

The deadline to enter the University of Houston's Mars Rover contest has been pushed back to Dec. 20. The competition will take place on Jan. 30, 2010 and will be open to Houston-area grade-schoolers.

One person has died in a traffic wreck early this morning in south Houston. The two-vehicle crash occurred in the 10300 block of Cullen near Airport about 12:45 a.m., Houston police said.

Two brothers who may have fled to Mexico are wanted in the fatal stabbing of a man at bar in northeast Houston last month. Along with two others already being held, Alfonso Montalvo, 29, and Richard Montalvo, 19, are charged with murder in the death of Melvin Paz Sanchez, 23.
